The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN) has denied claims he ordered the raid carried out at the Abuja residence of Justice Mary Odili, a Supreme Court Judge and wife of former governor of Rivers State, Peter Odili, on Friday, October 29. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has elected new members into its National Working Committee to lead the party ahead of the 2023 general elections. Despite the uncertainties surrounding the convention, the PDP held its convention with many favourites and known names denied positions in the NWC. THE National opposition party of the country, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) concluded their national convention in the early hours of Sunday morning, where after the intra-party electoral process former Senator Iyorchia Ayu emerged as the new National Chairman of the PDP.
