Nicki Minaj Is The Female Version of Jay Z – Rapper BIA

Rapper BIA is singing colleague rapper Nicki Minaj’s praises by drawing parallel lines between her and rap superstar Jay Z.

In a new interview with the Billboard, BIA said Nicki should be spoken in the same breath as Jay Z because they have the same prowess.

“I always say to people, when you speak of Nicki, you got to speak on her like how you speak on Jay-Z and the greats that laid out the foundation for the people that’s after them,” she said. BIA added that Nicki had done a lot for younger artists and that her catalog of music was just as impressive as some of the greats in the game.

“She broke amazing records and she’s made it easier for people like me to come through and do what we do. I’m always going to give her that credit and that respect because she helped me hit another milestone in my career,” she continued.

Indeed has done tremendously well as a commercial artiste since she starte recording. The Super Bass spitter is the first female rapper to sell over 100 million units in the US, the first female in history to have 100 Billboard Hot 100 hits, and the first female rapper to also have two No. 1 albums.

BIA, of course, is one of those female rappers that can say that Nicki opened the door for her to have a real shot at a rap career. Following the remix of “Whole Lotta Money,” she is now currently touring with Don Toliver and also has performed for Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 3 last month.

That was a moment she revealed that she won’t soon forget. “I love Rihanna so much. She’s so top-tier of absolute taste level. For her to embrace my music and to also shine light on me as an artist, it’s just the biggest dream. I just love her, I’m so grateful,” she shared during the interview.

Nigerian Actor Arrested For Peddling Drugs In India

Nigerian national, Chekwume Malvin, who works as an actor in the Indian film industry has been arrested for allegedly peddling drugs . The 45-year-old was caught red-handed on Wednesday near the BDA Complex in HRBR Layout by operatives of the Indian Police Service, attached to the K.G. Halli police division .
