Dowen College Releases Another Statement On Sylvester Oromoni’s Death

The management of Dowen College has released another press statement regarding the death of 12-year-old Sylvester Oromoni Junior.

Remember Sylvester died as a result of a substance he drank which resulted in several internal injuries plus the beating he got from senior pupils in Dowen College. Now the school has released another statement following the one which they made before, where they stated that he got injured as a result of playing football.

Now Dowen College has stated that they have remanded the five pupils suspected to be involved in the death of Sylvester and they are cooperating with the Police to get to the bottom of the matter.

This case is definitely a big one as President Buhari and Governor Sanwo-Olu have thrown in their support saying that they will ensure justice is served. See the statement below;

Nigerian Actor Arrested For Peddling Drugs In India

Nigerian national, Chekwume Malvin, who works as an actor in the Indian film industry has been arrested for allegedly peddling drugs . The 45-year-old was caught red-handed on Wednesday near the BDA Complex in HRBR Layout by operatives of the Indian Police Service, attached to the K.G. Halli police division . The police seized about 15 grams of MDMA, 250 ml of hashish oil, ₹2,500 (N13, 850) in cash and a mobile phone. The total value of the seized items is estimated to be around ₹8 lakh (N44).
